We had an absolutely splendid time playing at Spriten Kunsthall on the 12th of February! It was an atmospheric and beautiful place to perform in and the sound delivered by Audiopol was pretty much flawless. We were also delighted to see that so many people came to see us - thank you from the bottom of both of our hearts! Let´s do it again!
Here´s some tidbits about the evening…we had our good friend Stein Berg from Cinema of Spirits helping us with projector visuals and a smoke machine. We kept the visuals from the projector pretty simple, one evocative visual per song, while the smoke machine added its hazy aura to the surroundings. We also had two white boxes in front of the stage decorated with a plethora of white burning candles - the rest of the stage lightning was pretty dim. The whole thing resembled a mass/ritual of some kind - quite moody it was.
We also did a small tribute to the late great David Bowie. We opened the show with a projected picture of Mr. Bowie as “The Thin White Duke” and “Sense of doubt” from the “Heroes” album playing over the PA while we ascended in an elevator and onto the stage. It was very emotional for us, but nice to pay respect to one of our musical heroes.
Here´s some photos taken by a few of the lovely people who were at the gig:
The gig was recorded and we´re looking forwards to give it a listen. Don´t know if we´ll publish anything as we´re not sure of the audio quality of the recording - fingers crossed though! Next chance to experience this myriadistic A-train of utter insanity is in Stavanger at Folken the 5th of March.
Now, back to that record we´re working on…
