Alpine Those Myriads ~ Kaleidoscopic music for the open-minded.

Yr Royal Jetlag Gospel - Reissued

29th of October 2015 | share on Twitter or Facebook

It is with great pleasure to announce that our debut album “Yr Royal Jetlag Gospel” is available as a digital release in our shop! Do I hear a hurrah? This record was originally released on CD in 2003 and now it´s here on our little corner of the web for the first time! It certainly holds a special place in our hearts and we invite you to invite it into your heart:

Some tidbits about the album

It was recorded and mixed by the excellent chap Robert Jønnum in a tiny studio located in the deep and dark woods of Valdres, Norway. It was written, sung and played by Gypus Chelofan and Elijah Noah – the first line-up of the band. It consists of 15 songs and it is pretty long (1 hour & 6 minutes long). It includes a spoken word piece by the brilliant songwriter Daniel Johnston that we recorded over the phone. Its artwork is a humongous oil painting made by the splendid illustrator Tor Edvin Strøm. Last but not least, it sounds very different than Alpine Those Myriads as of today - a beautiful metamorphosis if I may say so.

On the 17th of november it´ll also be available on Spotify, Bandcamp, Rdio, iTunes, Amazon and loads of other places.

Next up for digital release is the single “Death, a skeleton & the holy ingredient” which was originally released on a 7 inch vinyl in 2002.
